Banana Soft Serve

Updated: Apr 22

If you’re craving something sweet, cold, and refreshing—but want to keep things simple—this Banana Soft Serve is a must-try.

Made with just one main ingredient (yes, really—banana!) and a few optional add-ins, this “nice cream” comes together in minutes and delivers that rich, creamy texture you’d expect from traditional ice cream.

It’s a great example of how you can enjoy something that feels like a treat while still supporting your overall balance—no complicated ingredients or overthinking required.

Customize it with your favorite mix-ins like nut butter, cocoa powder, or fresh fruit to make it your own.

Simple, satisfying, and perfect for warm days when you want something sweet without the extra effort.

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen bananas (be sure to peel prior to freezing!)

  • 1/4 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or low fat milk of choice)

Optional add-ins

  • 1 Tbsp natural creamy peanut butter (can also use powdered)

  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Place frozen bananas in a food processor or Vitamix.

  2. Pulse several times on low to medium speed to break banana into smaller chunks.

  3. Add any opted add ins and blend all ingredients on medium - high, pausing to stir occasionally, for approximately 3-5 minutes (or until nice and smooth).

  4. Once the mixture has become smooth it is ready to serve!

Tip - not quite "frozen" enough? Scoop into a small bowl and place in the freezer an additional 10-15 minutes prior to serving.

Eat and Enjoy!
