Warm outside? Craving a something sweet
Here's a simple sweet treat that won't sabotage your healthy living goals: Banana Soft Serve!
With one main ingredient (yep, it's bananas!!) and the choice of a few healthy opt-ins, you'll be enjoying this homemade ice cream in no time flat!
I scream, you scream, let's all scream for Banana Soft Serve!
4 frozen bananas (be sure to peel prior to freezing!)
1/4 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or low fat milk of choice)
1 Tbsp natural creamy peanut butter (can also use powdered)
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Place frozen bananas in a food processor or Vitamix.
Pulse several times on low to medium speed to break banana into smaller chunks.
Add any opted add ins and blend all ingredients on medium - high, pausing to stir occasionally, for approximately 3-5 minutes (or until nice and smooth).
Once the mixture has become smooth it is ready to serve!
Tip - not quite "frozen" enough? Scoop into a small bowl and place in the freezer an additional 10-15 minutes prior to serving.
