Hi I'm Coach Mindy, a certified Precision Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer, with a Bachelors in Health Sciences and over 20 years experience in the education field. I founded Mind + Body Elite on a mission to help men and women create healthy habits that simplify food and fitness so they can transform their health, bodies and lives to thrive.
A Washington native, I enjoy living life to its fullest. I'm a red wine lover, rescue dog mom, and running enthusiast. From the time I was young I've been drawn to movement. Moving my body helps me feel, move, and live my best, and after years of working in schools, physical therapy clinics, and studios, I've witnessed what a difference it makes for body and mind.
There was a time before I became a health & fitness coach when I felt frustrated with how I looked and insecure about my body. I was confused about what to eat to manage my weight and wondered if I'd ever be able to "get it right."
Struggling to figure it out, I spent hours in the gym and running every day. I constantly played with my diet, cutting out entire food groups, severely restricting calories, and trying diet plan after diet plan... which only led to a host of unhealthy behaviors.
It wasn't until I began studying nutrition and exercise that I realized my entire approach to "living healthy" was all wrong!
Then my world turned upside down when I underwent two back surgeries in one month as a result of ruptured discs that had been misdiagnosed for 6 months. And it stopped me in my tracks.
That's when I made the decision to follow my heart and create the life I wanted to live. It was scary, way outside my comfort zone, and challenged me in more ways that you can imagine. So I used the downtime during recovery to learn how I could improve my odds.
I took classes on health and wellness, nutrition therapy, and injury rehab and prevention. This was when I began to realize that food, fitness, and managing a healthy weight is so much easier than all the "diet plans" make it out to be.
Today my approach to food and fitness is simple, balanced, and FUN. As a certified coach and trainer with a B.S. in health sciences, I took my own struggles with body image and disordered eating to create a successful online private coaching practice where I get to show men and women how to live healthy, lose weight, and feel confident in creating healthy habits that empower them to be the best version of themselves.

Judgement, living in restriction, focusing on the negative, forgoing dreams.
My daily rituals:
Journal, listen to podcasts, smoothie, strength training, walks / runs with my pup, seasonal iced coffee.
