My Midlife Wellness Cart: 9 Purchases I'd Buy Again Tomorrow

There are thousands of wellness products online, and honestly... most of us don't need more stuff.

What we do need are products that make healthy habits easier to stick with.

These are the items I actually use in my own home — things I've purchased myself (many more than once!) because they've made meal prep simpler, walks and workout more comfortable, my skincare routine easier, or everyday life feel just a little less complicated.

If I lost everything tomorrow, these are the products I'd add back to my Amazon cart first.

Kitchen Favorites

One of the easiest ways to make healthy eating feel less overwhelming is to set your kitchen up for success. Having the right tools doesn't magically make meal prep happen — but it certainly makes it a whole lot easier.

1. Glass Storage Jars

If you've ever peeked inside my refrigerator, chances are you'd see these 16 oz. glass jars everywhere.

And I use them for so much more than overnight oats. They're perfect for storing chopped vegetables, cooked grains like rice or quinoa, ground turkey, washed berries, and even individual grab-and-go salads. Seeing healthy foods prepped and ready makes it much more likely that I'll actually eat them during a busy week.

They're durable, dishwasher-safe, and have become one of the hardest-working items in my kitchen.

2. Pantry Storage Bins

I honestly wish I had bought these years ago.

Before organizing my pantry, healthy snacks had a way of disappearing behind boxes and bags, only to be rediscovered months later. Once everything had its own place, grocery shopping became easier, meal prep felt less chaotic, and I stopped buying duplicates because I could actually see what I already had.

Sometimes healthy habits aren't about having more willpower — they're simply about making the healthy choice the easiest choice.

3. CORE Kitchen Silicone Utensil Set

I never expected kitchen utensils to make my list of favorite purchases, but here we are!

After replacing my old utensils with the CORE 10 piece BPA-free silicone set, I loved them so much that I bought a second set for our travel trailer.

They're comfortable to use, gentle on cookware, easy to clean, and most importantly, they've held up beautifully. It's one of those purchases that quietly makes cooking more enjoyable every single day.

Movement Favorites

One thing I've learned over the years is that when I feel comfortable, I'm much more motivated to get outside for a walk, get in a workout, or simply stay more active throughout the day. These are the pieces I reach for again and again because they're comfortable, functional, and have held up incredibly well.

4. CRZ Yoga Athleisure Wear

If you've followed me for any length of time, you've probably seen me wearing CRZ Yoga more than once.

Their tanks, leggings, shorts, and pullovers have become some of my favorite workout and everyday pieces. They're comfortable, flattering, and perform incredibly well whether I'm strength training, taking the dog for a walk, running errands, or traveling.

Many people compare them to Lululemon — and while I've owned pieces from both brands, I've been genuinely impressed with the quality of CRZ Yoga at such a budget-friendly price.

These have become wardrobe staples that I reach for week after week.

5. Crossbody Belt Bag

This little bag goes with me every single day.

Whether I'm walking the dog, heading out for errands, or traveling, it keeps everything I need within easy reach without weighing me down. I can fit my phone, lip balm, sunglasses, keys, and even dog bags inside, leaving my hands free while I'm out walking.

It's one of those simple purchases that makes getting out the door just a little easier and organized — and sometimes that's all it takes to stay consistent with daily movement.

6. Weighted Vest

One of my favorite ways to make my walks a little more challenging is by adding a weighted vest.

It's an easy way to increase the intensity of a walk without having to spend more time exercising. As we move through midlife, maintaining muscle and supporting bone health become increasingly important, and adding resistance to activities you're already doing can be a simple way to build on those benefits.

I personally use a 12-pound weighted vest, which feels like the perfect balance for me. If you're new to weighted walking, I'd recommend starting with a lighter weight and gradually increasing as your body adapts.

One thing I always remind women: you don't need to wear a weighted vest on every walk—and you shouldn't. I like to think of it as another tool in my wellness toolbox. Wearing it a few days a week is plenty to enjoy the benefits while giving your body time to recover. Consistency will always beat doing the most.

Everyday Essentials

Some of my favorite wellness products don't fit neatly into a category — and that's exactly why they deserve a spot on this list. These are the everyday essentials I find myself reaching for again and again because they make life a little easier. They're practical, they've earned a permanent place in my routine, and if I had to replace them tomorrow, I'd add them right back to my Amazon cart without a second thought.

7. Drybar Blow-Dryer Shot Collection

As someone with fine, thin hair, wash days used to feel like such a chore. I'd spend all that time drying and styling my hair, only to end up with... well, flat hair.

Then I discovered the Drybar Double Shot Blow-Dryer, and there has been no looking back. I've been using mine for over three years now, and it has honestly been one of my favorite beauty investments.

Because it combines a blow dryer and styling brush in one tool, it saves me time while giving my hair the volume and smooth finish I was always hoping to achieve. If you're navigating hair changes during perimenopause or menopause, this is one product I would happily buy again tomorrow.

8. Blue Light Reading Glasses

Can we all agree that readers have officially become the newest midlife accessory?

I used to own one pair. Now I have them everywhere — my office, the kitchen, my nightstand, and my car. Since I spend more time working on my computer these days, I love using blue light reading glasses to help reduce eye strain during long days in front of screens.

They're affordable, functional, and one of those simple purchases that have quickly become a midlife staple.

9. Foam Roller

I've always been a believer in taking care of my body. Massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, and pressure point work can all be incredibly beneficial — but they can also add up quickly.

That's one of the reasons I love my foam roller so much. It's a budget-friendly tool that delivers surprisingly luxurious results when you use it consistently.

Whether I've finished a strength workout, spent the afternoon gardening, taken a long walk, with the dog or simply sat at my computer for way too long, a few minutes with my foam roller helps release tension in my upper back, shoulders, hips, and legs.

It's not a replacement for professional bodywork, but it is one of the simplest (and most affordable) ways I've found to help my body recover and feel its best between appointments.

Final Thoughts

If you've been around here for a while, you know I'm all about keeping healthy living simple and sustainable. While none of these products are "must-haves," they've each earned a permanent place in my routine because they help remove little obstacles from everyday life.

Whether it's making meal prep easier, getting out the door for a walk, styling my hair in less time, or helping sore muscles recover after a busy day, these are purchases I genuinely use — and would happily buy again tomorrow.

I hope you found a few new ideas to make your own healthy habits feel just a little easier, too.
